Before You Start: Backup Your Database
It’s good practice to back up your database locally. This ensures you can restore your data in case of any accidental mistakes.

PigeonOnline – The TPRS Pigeon Online Payment Gateway Facilities
Dear Secretaries,
We would like to inform you that the full administration facilities used by the MNFC, NRCC and Northern Classic are open to you as well. This resource runs seamlessly with the RPRA TPRS software, the resources have been developed by Viv Oliver and Peter Humphries. The resources enable any size racing pigeon organisation to fully function. We have listed the different functions below. If you would like to observe the look of the website and resources have a look at the MNFC, NRCC and Northern Classic. https://nrcc.pigeononline.co.uk/

Subscription Features
1. Race Verification and Leader boards:
Federations looking to create leader boards for events such as channel races or Scottish early arrivals can easily set this up with the support of the TPRS team. This feature simplifies the process for both fanciers and secretaries, offering the same functionality as used by organizations like the MNFC, NRCC, or Northern Classic.
How It Works:
• Fancier Participation: Fanciers can verify their first bird or all timed birds, depending on their club's requirements.
• Data Handling: TPRS automatically retrieves the data, processes it, and prepares it for publication on the results site.
• Ease of Use: No additional skills are required for secretaries to operate the verification service.
Benefits:
• Streamlined Verification: Fanciers follow a familiar, straightforward process for bird verification, identical to that used for MNFC, NRCC, and Northern Classic events.
• Reduced Secretary Workload: Eliminates the need for time-consuming phone calls or manual coordination.
• Centralized Information: Results are organized and accessible in one place, reducing scattered updates across social media.
This service offers a practical and efficient solution for federations and clubs looking to enhance their race management and leader board functionality.

2. Online Payment for Races (Form A)
Clubs, Federations, Classics, or National organizations can streamline race payments using the online system, similar to those utilized by the MNFC, NRCC, and Northern Classic. This service allows fanciers to pay for their race entries—including weekly club races—seamlessly through a WorldPay account, with payments deposited directly into the club's bank account.
Key Features:
• Comprehensive Entry Options:
o Form A accommodates any combination of bird charges, pools, marking stations, and clock stations.
o Fanciers' choices are automatically transferred into the race system upon successful payment.
• Automated Processing:
o WorldPay generates a file with the transaction details, eliminating manual input for secretaries.
o Confirmation emails are sent to the fancier, club secretary, and designated officials, ensuring transparency.
• Real-Time Monitoring:
o Secretaries can view and track all entries for a race through the system.

3. Race Entry Details (Form B)
The Form B system was developed to address two critical needs:
1. Simplifying Channel Racing Legislation Compliance:
o Provides a comprehensive, user-friendly solution to meet new rules for sending pigeons to France.
o Demonstrations are available for interested organizations to highlight its practical benefits.
2. Reducing Administrative Workload:
o By enabling fanciers to complete Form B online, secretaries no longer need to manually match Form A with Form B.
o Once results are uploaded to the portal, a club secretary/national secretary can download them and generate a complete result—including prizes and pools—in a fraction of the time.
Seamless Integration:
• Form A and Form B are automatically matched, ensuring accuracy.
• Results are processed and published quickly, often within hours of a race.

4. Shopping Cart Functionality
An integrated shopping cart simplifies member payments for:
• Club subscriptions.
• Ring purchases.
• Merchandise or other club-related items (e.g. ties, cups).
This system can also support broader organisational needs, such as federations managing ring distributions and fee collection, with potential long-term benefits for future seasons, e.g., 2026 and beyond.

5. Unique Club Website Address
Subscribing clubs receive a personalized results site, providing members with exclusive access to their club’s information. Examples MNFC NRCC and NC above.

6. SSL Certificate for Security
A secure SSL license ensures safe and encrypted payment processing through WorldPay, protecting sensitive member and payment data.

7. Individual Member Access
Each member is provided with their own unique username and password, allowing them to securely access their data, results, and online services.
This integrated system significantly reduces manual workloads, enhances security, and improves overall efficiency, making it a valuable tool for modern pigeon racing organizations.
